I have been lucky enough to sell homes to families, or homes for families, singles and couples since 1984.  Prior to selling homes I sold Grandfather Clocks.  I found that selling was fun.  My husband talked me into getting my Real Estate License.  We lived backing on to a main road, and from our backyard there was a Century 21 office that always had a giant sign that said "Career Night" every Thursday night.  Paul, My husband made me an appointment  for "Career Night" and I never looked back.  At that time there were about 10 "Century 21" offices in the area, and that was the place to be.  Much like Re/Max is the Place to Be now.  I worked at "Century 21" and wore that Gold Jacket for 7 years.  Then they closed.  I had to find another place to work.  I was very sad to leave.  I tried other Real Estate offices, but ended up at Re/Max, the best company yet!  Best for my clients, and best for me.

As Real Estate Market's go, I have seen them all.  Good, bad, ugly and the best, Fun Markets! 

The Most fun I have is helping people find that exact perfect home when they don't think they can, or sell their house for more than they expect. 

I have been very lucky in my career to be able to work with (mostly) very nice people who refer me to their friends and relatives.   Working with the odd strange person makes life interesting, and sometimes more fun than you would think. 

I am always learning and stretching and trying to better my skills.

Personally:

I have been married to Paul for 32 years.  We have known each other since we were 15 years old.

We married and bought our first house when we were 22 years old.  We came from Scarborough,  planned to go back.  We bought a house in Oshawa because that was where we could afford to buy.  But we stayed in Durham Region because that's the place we fell in love with.  We raised 2 daughters here.  Both are grown now. 

One lives in her own home in Courtice. 

She rescues Greyhound Dogs from their horrible life racing.  

The other daughter lives in Toronto.  Our Toronto daughter is married to a very nice young man.  They have given us the greatest gift you can give.  Our 2.5 year old granddaughter.  Blonde, curly haired Georgia.  She is the Light of our lives.  They are in the process of giving us a second gift of a little boy the end of July!  We are very excited about that. 

They won't tell us his name, and it is driving me crazy! 

Being Grandma is the best!

We have another hobby, Travel.  We like to travel and see the world when we can.
